Diazolidinyl Urea (Jimei G-2) is a high-efficiency and broad-spectrum formaldehyde-releasing preservative. It appears as white free-flowing powder, odorless or slightly with characteristic odor. It is easily soluble in water, partially soluble in organic solvents such as propylene glycol and ethanol, but insoluble in absolute ethanol and oils. This product exerts antibacterial effect by slowly releasing formaldehyde, showing significant inhibitory effect on molds, yeasts and various bacteria (especially Gram-positive bacteria). It has excellent compatibility with various surfactants, cosmetic oils and polymers, and is widely used in various cosmetics and personal care products. It can effectively extend the shelf life of products, prevent microbial contamination, and is mild to the skin without obvious irritation at the recommended usage concentration.
