Nevertheless, it cannot dissolve in non-polar media such as mineral oil and grease, making it exclusively suitable for water-phase product preservation. The ingredient delivers outstanding chemical stability under neutral and weakly acidic environments, with qualified heat resistance to adapt to conventional heating and emulsification processes in daily chemical production. Its structural stability will be significantly compromised in alkaline conditions; decomposition and efficacy failure easily occur when the system pH value exceeds 8.5. Long-term storage under high temperature and strong light exposure is not recommended to avoid performance attenuation.
